Pop up Nightclub
It’s not all about work. The Eldapoint Group provided a 40-foot container conversion for a “Welcome to Hell” rave in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. An exclusive guest list learned the location 24 hours before the event – a mysterious stark black container, pulsing with music and strobe light, that seemed to appear out of nowhere!

When the British Antarctic Survey approached the Eldapoint Group for specialist shipping container conversion units, it was a challenge we accepted. Each unit was built to meet all logistical challenges, including temperatures averaging minus 50 degrees centigrade.

DNO Connection Glencoe
One of our highest installations sits atop White Corries mountain at Glencoe Ski Resort (2,329 feet). This DNO (Distribution Network Operator) enclosure had to be helicoptered into position due to the environmental conditions.

From humble beginnings in Essex, the Eldapoint Group has embarked on a voyage of discovery, building up over 80 years of combined experience to evolve into an industry leader.
Eldapoint founded in Essex
Founded in 1968 in Essex, the Eldapoint Group began its operations with a primary focus on container services such as sales, logistics, storage and maintenance.
Eldapoint Moved to Liverpool
As the Eldapoint Group's operations and services evolved a new larger site was required, so the decision was taken to move to Liverpool. This transition marks Eldapoint's adaptation to contemporary demands, transitioning from traditional container services to more specialised and modern applications.
ISO9001 accreditation
In 1995, the Eldapoint Group reached a significant milestone by obtaining ISO9001 accreditation, affirming its commitment to quality management and excellence. This globally recognised standard reflected the Eldapoint Group's dedication to consistent quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement, setting a benchmark for its future operations and growth in a competitive industry.
RISQS accreditation
In 1998, the Eldapoint Group achieved another important milestone with the RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) accreditation. This accreditation is a testament to the company's commitment to meeting the stringent safety and quality standards required in the railway industry. It signifies Eldapoint's capability and reliability as a supplier in this sector.
Acquisition of TF Jackson
The Eldapoint Group formed in 2021, acquiring TF Jackson, a specialist in portable modular buildings. TF Jackson offers a variety of prefabricated solutions, including offices, storage units, and accommodation facilities. This enhanced the product range in the portable building sector and was supported by funding from Pricoa Private Capital, enabling strategic growth and diversification for the group.
Acquisition of GWR Engineering
The Eldapoint Group acquired GWR Engineering, a company with over 35 years of experience in producing high-quality metal products, including pressings and formed metal sections for specialist container manufacturers. GWR Engineering, known for its skilled workforce and adherence to top-grade materials and certification, complements the Eldapoint Group's focus on quality and innovation.
Acquisition of JS Burgess Engineering
The Eldapoint Group acquired JS Burgess Engineering in October 2022. JS Burgess, headquartered in Derbyshire, is a metal fabricator known for its expertise in Stillages, Skips and Containers. The trajectory over 12 months highlights the company's adaptability and foresight in aligning with emerging market needs and opportunities.
Acquisition of Fibaform
Fibaform, a company specialising in glass-reinforced polymer (GRP) products was acquired. Based in Lancaster, Fibaform has been known for quality GRP gatehouses, cabinets, kiosks, and enclosures, serving a wide range of industries across the UK. Adding GRP specialisation to the Eldapoint Group’s portfolio strengthened its position in the market for specialised building and enclosure solutions.
Expansion of new sectors
In 2024, the Eldapoint Group are expanding into new sectors, capitalising on its comprehensive capabilities and diverse product offerings. This move aims to explore opportunities in markets that align with their expertise in modular buildings, steel fabrications, and GRP solutions. This represents the group's forward-thinking approach, adapting to evolving market trends and diversifying its customer base.

The Eldapoint Group designs and manufactures across 7 UK sites, with over 250 employees. We manage our own press, rolling, shearing, welding and MPi operations, enabling us to maintain the quality, consistency and guaranteed service levels that our many customers have come to expect
Over the last year, we’ve processed over 9,000 tonnes of high-grade steel; that’s enough to build the Eiffel Tower itself, with a little bit left over.

UNLOCKING THE POTENTIAL OF GREEN STEEL
In partnership with our supply chain, the Eldapoint Group supports the move to a more sustainable and eco-friendly steel production process. Green steel creates near zero CO2 emissions by substituting fossil fuels such as coke and coal for renewable, clean energy sources and hydrogen-based direct reduction (a process where the iron ore reacts with hydrogen rather than carbon atoms, creating water as a by-product instead of CO2). By adopting these cutting-edge practices, our industry can play a pivotal role in mitigating the effects of global warming.
