Outdoor Telecom Cabinets

Telecoms Enclosure Product Range
We design and manufacture steel and GRP telecommunications field cabinets for housing roadside telecommunications and IT equipment. Our outdoor weatherproof IP-rated enclosures come in multiple bay, height and depth options. Flexible build options can house a broad range of equipment in various industry standard mounting formats. With a robust construction, coupled with useful vandal-resistant features, an Eldapoint outdoor enclosure will ensure uninterrupted communication services.

Equipment Racks
The cabinet can be provided with adjustable internal racking consisting of corner-mounted punched rails to the full height of the cabinet. The vertical racking frame is segmented to allow mounting of 19 inch (482.6 mm) and Euro metric 21 inch (533.4 mm) equipment.
Cable Management
We can provide a cable management system for a 50mm diameter cable loom down the full height of both sides of the cabinet. Horizontal cable management and slotted ducts with covers can be provided as required.
Electrics
Customers can specify a basic electrical kit comprising: 1 x 4-way metal clad 80A distribution board, 1 x double-switched socket outlet, 1 x light switch, 1 x 28W light fitting, and white conduit.
Seals
Door compression seals provide a durable, waterproof seal against a flat surface. The seal is UV stabilised to maintain its elasticity and functionality over the cabinet lifetime.
Door Hinges and Locks
Doors can be hinged with concealed hinges on the left-hand side for single cabinets. For double cabinets, the left cabinet is hinged on the left side and the right cabinet on the right side. The choice of handle and locks includes a deadlock, knob handle sash lock or lever handle sash lock set.
Doors
Access doors are at the front and rear of the cabinet to provide access to all internal cabling and equipment. Each door opens up to 110 degrees and includes a hold-open feature.

Protection
Our enclosures comply with industry standards and regulations, ensuring that telecommunication equipment housed within meets safety and performance requirements. We manufacture our outdoor telecoms street enclosures to IP55 specification using galvanised steel. Compliance with IP (Ingress Protection) ratings and NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) standards certifies their ability to withstand environmental conditions and protect sensitive equipment.
