Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) Hooklift Containers
A roll on, roll off skip or RoRo is a heavyweight of waste management. It is a large waste container suitable for high volumes of waste, heavy and bulky items. As you might guess from the name, a RoRo is carried on the back of a flatbed lorry and then rolled on or off for delivery and collection. With capacities from 15 up to 55 yards, our roll on roll off bins are big enough for every challenge. All of our RoRo skips are built to CHEM standards, so you can be sure you’re getting a container compatible with all standard material handling equipment. A comprehensive feature set includes:

Smooth Sided Roll On Roll Off Hooklift Containers
Smooth-sided open containers are the most economical product in our RoRo container range. They are built with curved sides and have a double-skinned overlap with a 3mm top plate overlapping the 4mm curved lower plate by 300mm to provide extra strength.
There is a choice of container doors, from top-hung and side-hung doors with ratchet lockings secured by secondary locking pins, to double barn doors with twin lock operations.
Flat Sided Open RoRo Containers
The flat sided open container is manufactured using a conventional hook lift design with 7 uprights for additional strength. They come as standard with channel supports cradling the container’s floor and sides. We can customise a flat open-sided RoRo with additional under-floor channels to meet heavy-duty specifications. As with our smooth sided model, door options include side-hung, top-hung and double barn doors.

Swaged Sided Roll On Roll Off Hooklift Containers
Swage-sided containers are the most robust containers in the Eldapoint Group product range and are best suited for sites with intense heavy-duty loads. They come with channel supports as standard, which cradle the container floor and sides. The swaged sides have at least 7 uprights for additional strength and steel rollers fitted with Oilite Bushes. Our swage sided RoRo is manufactured to be compliant with all UK-specified vehicle ground level demountable systems HL5 – HL20 and for use with hooklift systems.

Waste Compactor Containers
Compaction containers interact with hydraulic static compactors and are designed to compress bulky waste materials such as cardboard, paper and plastic waste. Depending on the material, waste can be reduced by a significant ratio of its original volume, typically a ratio of 4:1. Compacting minimises the space needed to store refuse, helping overall site hygiene. Our compaction containers are manufactured to conventional hooklift (HLC) compaction container specifications. The compactor plate thickness specifications can be tailored according to the application and waste material. The Eldapoint Group offer two standard models:
- Smooth-sided Compaction Containers: designed for use with all compactable loads. The tapered container shape, sides and roof are designed for easy emptying. The curved sides and roof plates have overlapped side plates for additional strength.
- Swaged-sided Compaction Containers: The swaged model comes with channel supports as standard, which cradle the floor and sides of the container.
Both compaction container types come with optional aperture fixtures with standard pins and a PVC sheet or a secondary steel door fitted to cover the aperture fully.

Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)
IBCs or intermediate bulk containers are large containers used for storing or transporting industrial goods. The Eldapoint Group’s intermediate bulk container (IBC Waste Safe) is made from steel, fully welded, galvanised for extra strength and both DIN 3074-1 and UN approved.
The Eldapoint Group WasteSafe IBC has a 3mm base, a 120mm by 80mm by 5mm box section and a pressed angle frame fitted with stacking blocks and internal fork pockets made from press steel. The box section top rim comprises four vertical corner angles, 25mm by 3mm to form the frame where the 2mm side plates are welded. The IBC frame has top lifting and stacking corner fittings, designed to be used with other IBC containers with the same capacity and footprint.
The lid locks are over-centre type with safety catches and padlocking options. The neoprene rubber-sealed lid is hinged and fitted with springs for easy opening. It can be held with a lid restraint arm or completely opened and held back against the rear body face.

Plant Flats and Flat Beds
The Eldapoint Group manufactures plant flats for the transportation of plant and machinery. All plant flats have a 6mm Durbar decking plate as standard. We also tailor flatbeds to suit our client’s requirements, such as flat-ended, beaver tail or hinged tailgate ramps, with additional options such as ISO blocks fitted to the base, or the addition of equipment boxes for storage of loose items or gear.

Industrial Bins and Trade Bin Enclosures
We have manufactured thousands of steel bins of different sizes over the years for a cross-section of industries, meeting a diverse range of specifications. Complementing our standard metal bins is a range of GRP (glass-reinforced plastic or fibreglass) trade bin enclosures. These enclosures can hold several wheelie bins. They are rot-proof, waterproof and can be hosed or pressure-washed inside and out.
