The Eldapoint Cube HAS ARRIVED

The rail industry is a crucial part of our transport infrastructure, connecting people, goods and economies across the country and, indeed, the globe. The Eldapoint Group is an experienced supplier in the rail sector, providing market-leading steel enclosures and portable building units to this unique marketplace. The latest addition to the range is the Eldapoint Cube, a a cost-effective, sustainable and innovative solution for the housing and maintenance of trackside equipment

The Eldapoint Cube Modular Equipment Enclosure

Improving safety and sustainability for trackside equipment installations

Developed in collaboration with the Tier 1 rail supply chain, the Eldapoint Cube is currently going through PADS approval and will be officially launched at Rail Live on 19th – 20th June. Thanks to a flexible, modular design, the Eldapoint Cube has the capability of combining multiple Location Case (LOC) installations, normally housed in separate trackside equipment housings (TEHs), into one single walk-in enclosure. Trackside maintenance and installation work involves a number of challenges, workers must operate under strict safety protocols whilst often exposed to harsh weather conditions such as rain, wind and snow. The Eldapoint walk-in enclosure design brings many benefits, providing an environmentally controlled, safe place of work. No protective temporary shelters are required and workers can operate safely, protected from the live lines without any disruption to the operational railway.

Jonathon Phillips, Eldapoint Group Commercial Director commented, “The modular configurations help network installers futureproof the project. As well as improving safety, you also have a reduced footprint and cost savings on the overall installation with the added benefit of a smaller carbon footprint.”
